TR Elliott Queste Russian River Pinot Noir
Ted Elliott's superb cuvee consists of 21 barrels selected from the winery's Hallberg Vineyard and another 12 from the O’Connell Vineyard. Dijon clones, a long, cool growing season and the Gold Ridge sandy loam soils are typical of both Vineyards.
The color is a dark brick red, with some purplish hues on the rim of the glass.
The wine combines the elegance of the 777 clone, the aromatics of the 115 clone, and the concentration of the Elite and Pommard clones. 2007 Queste opens with deep intensity, sweet black cherry, and layer upon layer of dark fruit, and finishes with leather, burnt sugar, vanilla and caramel.
The wine has a broad and yummy mouth feel, and is big without being overbearing. This is a great aging wine with soft chocolate tannins, texture, dark cherry and mushroom flavors with forest floor terroir. The 2007Queste is a classic.

Name of Charity :
Tumbleweed Ranch 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon
Tumbleweed Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is part of this wonderful Napa Valley legacy. This cabernet is 100% estate grown from our small vineyard located in the Tulocay/ Coombsville region of Napa Valley. Our Hillside vines, outstanding soil conditions, and coupled with near perfect micro climate weather produce wonderful fruit. The grapes are hand picked at harvest time, crushed and then aged in French oak barrels for approximately 20 months under the careful direction of wine maker C Beck before bottling.
Tumbleweed Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is produced in very limited quantity. The wine shows an opaque, purple-black color in the glass and exhibits an outstanding aroma and subtle earthiness through its long finish. We believe that you will not find a better Napa Valley cabernet wine for the price. We work very hard to produce an outstanding wine that we are very proud to put our name on.
Tumbleweed Boys Ranch
In addition to our vineyard operation, several years ago we founded a non-profit Boy’s Ranch program for at risk youngsters who need a 2nd chance in life.

Ackerman Family Vineyards 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon, Coombsville
“What I love most about Ackerman Family Vineyards Cabernet is the wine’s remarkable ability to adroitly reflect the nature of the vintage as well as it’s more moderate-climate Napa Valley terroir. Witness the 2006 Ackerman Cabernet Sauvignon, which superbly displays the concentration, structure and age-worthiness of the vintage. The wine’s deep, nearly opaque color is supported by aromas and flavors of ripe dark berry, sweet plum, dark currants and cedar. The palate offers beautifully ripened fruit, a firm yet not too tannic backbone, with a rich and extremely long flavorful finish. This tension between ripeness and structure is a hallmark of the 2006 vintage and Ackerman’s vineyard in the hills east of the town of Napa, situated in the cooler southern part of the valley. This wine’s lovely fruit, fine balance and great structure will allow it to age gracefully for 10 to 15 years.” Peter Marks, Master of Wine, August 2010
